HSBC | Sustainability Webinar Series

Transforming Webinars into Engaging Educational Content

HSBC enlisted our services for a substantial project aimed at transforming extensive webinar footage from their sustainability initiatives into concise, engaging presentation-style videos. The goal was to distil hour-long recordings down to digestible 7 to 10-minute segments that effectively communicate the main ideas and concepts discussed.

Our approach involved editing the webinars to highlight key points and integrate them with simple motion-animated presentation slides. These slides were designed using a standardised style and colour palette adhering to HSBC’s brand guidelines, ensuring consistency across all materials. This not only made the content more accessible but also easier to distribute among HSBC employees to spread awareness and knowledge about the bank's sustainability efforts.

To enhance consistency and facilitate comprehension, we developed a templated style that incorporated graphical elements, photos, and basic icons. Information hierarchies were carefully constructed, and speaker points were distilled into keywords, making the complex content more approachable.

Additionally, the project prioritised accessibility; captions were added to all videos, and enhanced transcripts were provided to aid those using screen readers. This consideration ensured that the videos were inclusive and accessible to all HSBC employees. Overall, the project included over 120 videos, making it one of our largest and most impactful initiatives to date.
