The Royal Air Force (RAF) approached us to develop a series of educational videos to guide their employees through the transitions to remote and hybrid working environments during the pandemic. These videos were designed to provide RAF personnel with crucial strategies and best practices to effectively work from home or in hybrid settings, addressing the unique challenges and opportunities presented by these work arrangements.
The video series included a collection of short, informational videos using basic iconography to quickly and clearly communicate essential tips and advice. Topics covered in these videos ranged from technological tools that facilitate remote working, such as video conferencing and cloud storage, to strategies for maintaining work-life balance and building strong team relationships in a hybrid model. Each video aimed to be concise, with practical advice that employees could immediately implement, all tailored specifically with the military context in mind.
Additionally, we produced a more detailed promotional video titled "Being Effective Remotely – Keeping a Routine." This video used a more illustrative iconographic style to explore deeper into establishing a daily routine for remote work, emphasising the need for discipline and structured schedules to enhance productivity and maintain work-life boundaries.
